What your posture should be like when you're going to swing, and how to swing.

 

 

When you're going to swing, you should pay very good attention to your posture especially if you have a hard time maintaining your balance. Your posture and maintaining your balance will help you keep the club in place so when you swing your ball will go towards your desired swing path. To do this your posture should be good and grounded in a forward tilt position from the hips. Be careful not to tilting from the waist, so you're standing at a tilted 30 degrees (with is also considered the 1 o'clock angle). You should maintain this posture for as long as you can from your backswing to your finish. The tilting 30 degree angle is important during goft because it will help you from moving up or down when you're trying to swing, and it will help you correct your club towards the path you want, which is suppose to be at 90 degrees to your spine.

The 90 degree angle is very important if you want to swing a ball in a circular motion, which would allow the ball to move its fastest. Most clubs are built around 60 degrees, (or 65 degrees for the shortest clubs and 55 degrees for the longest.) But whatever the case you must always bend forward at 30 degrees or to 1 o'clock position to get to 90 degree angle. When you are hunched in a 30 degree angle while swinging be careful not to swing the club too much from the inside. When you swing the club and hit the ball from the inside of the club it will make it difficult for you to clear the left side of the body out of the way during the downswing. Also pay attention to your balance while swinging. To do this you most people picture themselves on a balance beam. If you lean yourself too much to the back or too much to your tip you will eventually fall off.
